Land sale freeze
UPEIDA froze land sales along the alignment in July 2025
Before buying land near this alignment, confirm with the tehsil and UPEIDA whether the village is covered by the freeze or an acquisition notification.
Where will the link run?
From Bhaipur Brahman, Gautam Buddh Nagar district — near Film City / YEIDA Sector 21, at about the 24.8 km point of the Yamuna Expressway to Bahapur, near Syana, Bulandshahr district (on the Ganga Expressway), a distance of 74.467 km. Most of the length is in Bulandshahr district, through Khurja, Bulandshahr, Syana and Shikarpur (Bulandshahr district).
Why does it matter for land?
The link connects two growth points: Noida International Airport, where commercial flights started on 15 June 2026, and the Ganga Expressway corridor, including the Bulandshahr industrial node. That is why land along it attracts interest, and why the state moved early to freeze sales.
What does the land-sale freeze mean?
A freeze stops registration of land sales in the affected area so that land is not bought cheaply and resold to the government at higher compensation. If a seller offers land “just outside” the alignment, verify the village and khasra at the tehsil yourself.
What has been approved, and when?
