The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to introduce a new residential plot scheme in the upcoming festive season of Navratri. Following the successful reception of earlier schemes, this launch aims to cater to mid-income group buyers looking for smaller-sized plots near the Noida International Airport.

Plot Sizes and Allotment Details

YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh highlighted that while the previous residential plot schemes were well-received, many interested individuals missed the opportunity to participate. In response, YEIDA has planned to launch approximately 4,000 residential plots, with 2,000 of them being introduced during Navratri. These plots will vary in size, ranging from 120 square metres (sq m) to 162 sq m.

Allotment Rates and Pricing

According to officials, the allotment rate is expected to be around Rs 25,900 per sq m. If this rate is confirmed, the cost for a 120 sq m plot will be around Rs 31.08 lakh, while a 162 sq m plot will be priced at approximately Rs 41.95 lakh. The allocation of these plots will be conducted through a lucky draw, providing an equal opportunity for all applicants.

Scheme Registration and Launch

The new scheme will be offered in sectors located near the Noida International Airport. YEIDA has initiated the process of registering this scheme with the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA) to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance.

Previous Plot Scheme Success

In July 2024, YEIDA launched a scheme offering 361 residential plots in sectors 16, 18, 20, and 22D. The lucky draw for this scheme is scheduled for October 10, 2024. Moreover, the response to a recent scheme that closed on September 4, 2023, saw over 2.4 lakh registrations for 1,184 residential plots, underlining the strong demand for residential properties in the region.
